It is the  Lymm Beer Festival on the 6th/7th of September at the village hall. They have a home brew category if anyone wants to enter, just turn up at 12..00 on the Saturday with your entries. 

This month, a Talk & a Tasting by Geoff Stoker... Welsh Railway at Ffestiniog and a beer tasting

This will be a Runcorn walk starting from Norton Priory. Meet in the Priory carpark at 11:00 as usual. The walk is about 4 miles and includes a couple of woods and the Bridgewater Canal and no steep gradients. We can go to the Red Lion at Moore for lunch. Peter and Anna are leading …

Walking from the Cat and Lion, Stretton, 11am. Park in the large carpark at the back that they share with the Premier Inn. A table for lunch has been reserved. Frank and Jean are leading the walk
